The club was formed to give disabled people the opportunity to take part in sport in a happy atmosphere together with able-bodied relatives and friends. When the Wolverhampton Disabled Sport was first formed members had the opportunity to take part in a number of sports but over the years we have lost some of the facilities, so that at present our main sports are Archery & Crossbow shooting.
Coaching is available for both Archery and Crossbow shooting, up to national & international standards We can provide bows and other equipment.

We also have electronic equipment to enable us to coach the visually impaired in crossbow shooting.

Some of the coaches are members of the English Crossbow team. One of our disabled members is the only disabled member in the England Team competing side by side with able bodied shooters.
